1890 Symons tries to work mill without using men affiliated to the Original Society of Papermakers.

1898 Agreement finally reached with the Original Society of Papermakers, and new workers drafted in.
1900 Numbers 1-8 Orchard Terrace built.
1900 Arthur Millbourn & Co. proprietor.

1910 49 men and women on Tuckenhay paper mill pay roll
1913 8 vats in operation.
1918 Numbers 9-10 Orchard Terrace added.
1918 8 vats in operation.
1918 Original Society of Papermakers has 40 subscribing members and apprentices at Tuckenhay mill.
1930 6 vats in operation.
1947 Original Society of Papermakers folds.
1951 Dr Grant, Mr Harrison proprietors.
1953 Tuckenhay Mill is one of only 4 left in the country making handmade paper. 72 men and women employed.
1958 3 vats in operation. Millbourn Archer & Co Ltd. proprietors.
1962 5th January last handmade paper manufactured at Tuckenhay mill - continues producing pulp.
1970 Tuckenhay mill finally shuts down completely.
1977 Renovated and reopened as holiday accommodation
